Audiovisual and UX designer working across music, motion and digital products.

I'm Jacob Howard, working as Jacob How. I make music-led animation, graphic systems and digital experiences. I care about rhythm, structure and how a sequence of decisions can make something feel coherent.

My visual and UX work come from a similar place. In animation, I think about timing, repetition and what changes with the sound. In interfaces, I think about hierarchy, what someone notices first and what they can do next.

As Jacob How, I'm producing and releasing Violet Spiral, an electronic audiovisual project that brings my music and original 3D animation together. I work across the sound, visual identity and material surrounding each release, carrying ideas between listening platforms, video and social formats.

Howaubi is my independent visual practice, where I explore graphics, motion and editorial design through sustained making.

Alongside that work, I study UX Design at Purdue University. My internship at JM&A Group involved enterprise interface design, prototyping and collaboration with field and executive stakeholders. Academic projects have also taken me into legal-information design and sleep-research reporting.

I'm interested in audiovisual, motion, creative technology and digital product roles across music, entertainment and culture. I want to work with people who value experimentation, clarity and making ideas tangible.
